WHAT DOES KCS STAND FOR?

WHO ARE THE OWNERS OF THE SHREW PUB?

The Kingstone Community Society successfully purchased the pub for the community on 1st May 2019. As of 20th September 2019, the KCS have signed a contract with a team of tenants to run the pub.

WHAT IS A COMMUNITY HUB?

A Community facility owned by the village, run for the good of the village and providing support to the whole community.

WHAT LEGAL ENTITY IS THE KCS WORKING UNDER?

We are registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. This legal form provides limited liability status, just like company law. But unlike companies, shares in societies are non-speculative and democratic.

HOW CAN I INVEST & WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO ME?

Investing is currently closed, but we'll be sure to keep you informed if it opens back up again in the future.
